R&D at FH JOANNEUM
The research and development carried out by the FH JOANNEUM university of applied sciences makes a sustained and important contribution to society. The SCOBES-AR project embodies this approach of closely integrating both basic and applied research. The project is implemented using interdisciplinary methods combined with scientific expertise and practical know-how. Research activity at FH JOANNEUM is currently focused on societal issues including demographic change, the digitalisation of society and healthcare, developments in the healthcare system such as health promotion and prevention, and primary care in Austria. The FH JOANNEUM Department of Health Studies is working in the field of healthy ageing and the development of ICT-based solutions and services for vulnerable groups.
